In short, No. Sherlock allows users to refine all data associated with a circuit card, including the Parts List, Stackup data, mount points, etc. in any order they want, spanning as much time as needed. In most situations, users begin a project by processing all of the EDA files associated with the circuit card to extract as much data as possible. Then, it is recommended, but not required, for users to review the Parts List and the board layout to ensure that the EDA files were processed correctly. After that, repeated cycles of data refinement, analysis and result review are not only expected, but encouraged to determine the final results.
